Amber Sinicrope #8

Growing up down the road from the supposed birthplace of ultimate, Amber Sinicrope first started playing the sport at summer camp in middle school. Despite playing all through high school at Amherst Regional, it still took a year of college basketball before she finally quit the hardwood for good. Amber played ultimate at both the University of Wisconsin and Smith College, helping each team earn semifinal finishes at Division I and Division III Nationals respectively. Currently Boston Brute Squad's most tenured player, Amber's been running around with the squad's D-line since 2005, when she accidentally made the team at 16 years old before even taking her driver's test. Amber previously represented the US in 2006 and 2008 on the U20 Girls National Team, earning gold and bronze medals, and also helped The Ghosts take home a bronze medal in the mixed division at the 2014 WUCCs in Italy.

Off the field, Amber currently works for a non-profit focused on creating quality educational options for low-income, urban youth across Massachusetts.
