Kaela Jorgenson #5

Kaela grew up in the redwood forests of Humboldt County California playing soccer and running track. She attended UC Santa Barbara where she stumbled upon Ultimate. She played for the Burning Skirts all four years of college, winning a national championship in 2009 (captain) and finishing 2nd in 2007, 2008, and 2010. She played for the Santa Barbara Lady Condors while still in college and then tried out for Fury in 2010. After making the team she went on to win gold in Prague at the WUCC and also took home a national championship that year. She went on to win gold at nationals in 2011 and 2012 as well as a silver medal at the WUGC Japan in 2012. She took second with Fury at nationals in 2013 and 2014.

Off the field, Kaela works for REI and explores the outdoors. She also works with ERIC to expose kids to ultimate and living an active and healthy lifestyle.
